Welcome to the website for Center Lodge #97 in Meriden, CT.

As Connecticut Freemasons we embrace the tenets of Friendship, Morality and Brotherly Love. We do this by using the teachings of Freemasonry to better ourselves, our community and each other. At our lodge we make Masons and here at our website we show you our history, activities and schedule of future events.

The Masonic Fraternity does not invite anyone to become a member, instead we wait patiently for the special man to knock on our door and seek admittance. Perhaps your visit here is that "knock" on our outer door.

From the East

Brethren,

As John Lennon and the Beatles said many years ago; “Help! We need somebody!”

As we progress through the year we have many interesting and fun activities planned, but we need all of you to be a part of the upcoming events to continue our success and to grow the lodge.  Please try to come down to the lodge on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month and see what we have in store for you. We have a great time and want you to be part of it.

Our Awards Night on May 23, which is a semi-public event.  Its a night when we honor those with 25 years or more of service, and we will also remember those brothers who departed us in 2011. The night will feature a dinner by our renowned chefs, who also double as our Stewards! June 13 is a Master Mason Degree.  There is no dinner that night but there will be free pizza afterwords (donations accepted!).  June 27 is our annual Lodge picnic, which will feature more great food and fun.

Come to lodge whenever you can. We've had big crowds the past two meeting, helped out by visitors form several lodges who came to see our excellent degree work.  I’m keeping our business meetings short and our dinner and “coffee and” social hours long, so now is the time to visit us and show your support. Center Lodge #97 Meets on every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the Month, at 112 East Main St. Meriden, CT.

Business Meetings are conducted at 7PM. See Calender for details regarding the meetings.

Visitors or interested individuals are welcome before the meeting, Someone will be available on meeting nights between 6:15 and 6:45 PM to show you around and introduce you to the brothers.
