Brethren,

It’s been an honor serving as your Senior Warden this year.  Under the leadership of our Master, I have reignited my passion for masonry, and I know much more is to come.  As I write this I can't help but think about the Table Lodge we are about to have, by the time you read this it will have passed, and we will have had our inspection night as well.  I know what this means to me, come fall it will be step up night and I ought to start preparing for which ever degree the Master asks me to step up on.

I have been bestowed the honor of volunteering for several committees this year.  The investigation committee has been busy.  In the spring we will have investigated 10 candidates.  Though it takes up much of our time, I am glad.  We are initiating and investigating many young fine candidates, whom I am proud to call my brother.

Another committee I am part of is the Media communications committee, If you have noticed I have been keeping our lodge website up to date.  You can find all the information regarding future events, cancelations, rescheduling etc.   I would like for you to visit the site often, there is much to learn there.  For those that do not know already our site is www.centerlodge97.org .

We have also created a Facebook page and group.  In order to reach out to our younger brothers, who use this medium for communication, the same information found on the web page calendar can be found there as well.  I prefer Facebook because I can send notices quickly to all that are interested,  however I will continue to use all publication methods at my disposal to reach all of our membership.

Finally,  With only 9 months remaining, I am starting to plan our my year for next year.  Please let me know what activities, lectures, or other Masonic/ and non Masonic related items you would like to see for next year.  I will be glad to incorporate them as best I can.  I can always be reached at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
